I'm Ricardo "Cards" Peñaranda, a tattoo artist from the Philippines. I’ve been tattooing since 2007; it isn’t just my job, it’s shaped nearly every part of my life. I specialize in Traditional Japanese tattoos, and in recent years, I’ve found a deep interest in working with blackwork, dotwork, and fine lines.
Throughout my journey, I’ve had the privilege of working in various studios and earning recognition at tattoo competitions, but the biggest reward has always been the connections made through each piece I create.
Over the years, my passion for the art has led me to open my tattoo shop in Tacloban City, Philippines, which continues to thrive today under the care of my trusted co-artists. Stepping into the international tattoo scene is a big move; leaving home is never easy, but I believe that growth comes from embracing new challenges.
I look forward to learning from artists around the world and continuing to tell meaningful stories through ink, wherever the journey takes me.
